A summer to remember!

We had an amazingly busy and wonderful summer. The BIG event was the wedding of Jessica and Todd, but there were some other fun things too...

Shelby was in her high school production of Alice In Wonderland

Jake golfed part of the season for the Vista High School Varsity Golf Team, even though he was just a freshman. And...drum roll please...he got this first HOLE IN ONE while playing golf with Grandma Niecee.

ShelbyLynn went to her Junior Prom with a big group of friends.

Jessica came home and for a fabulous bridal shower hosted by the best friends a girl could ever ask for, Shannon and Kerinda. It was so much fun!

This is Kerinda and Shannon, the hostesses with the mostest!

Our super cool friends, Grace and VJ Bitton, took us out in Oceanside Harbor on their super cool boat. It was such a memorable night!

This is Grace and VJ...our super cool peeps with the speediest boat!

Shelby turned 17 in July! Pam gave her a surprise birthday breakfast and secretly invited her friends. It was EPIC!

Jake turned 15 in August and celebrated with his cousins at Oceanside beach.

Jess and Todd came home a week before the wedding for some pre-wedding fun. Here are the kids in the church parking lot posing in front of a replica of the Nauvoo temple that was built by the Spanish Ward in our stake for our Pioneer Day celebration. It was a huge undertaking and when it was finished it was incredible!

Jessica went through the temple a couple of days before the wedding. It was a wonderful night!

Jana, the world's most amazing maid of honor, threw a rip snortin' bachelorette party for Jess.

Shelby posed for her Senior Pictures. Say it isn't so!

The true highlight of the summer was the wedding and our trip to Chicago and Nauvoo, but those events merit their own posts so for now we'll just say it was a summer to remember!
